Description

Senior ICU Pharmacist - Professional 3 Remuneration Package: $134,618, - $150,549 (including salary $114,199 - $127,898)

Plus, additional 15% market allowance on top of base salary and annual retention allowance of $5,000!!

Provide a comprehensive pharmacy service to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals (RDPH), ensuring all pharmacy services provided are of the highest ethical and professional standards consistent with Top End Region Health Service policies.

Pharmacy Team

The pharmacy team is a multi-disciplinary team providing medicines management services as an integral part of the broader NT Health Care Team, striving to optimise the quality use of medicines through innovative patient care to improve the health of Territorians.

The pharmacy department is modern and progressive spanning across two campuses, with a team of 40 pharmacists, 27 pharmacy technicians, and 3 intern pharmacists. We have a strong focus on workforce culture and commitment to professional development.

Hours of work are 8am – 4:21pm, including the requirement to participate in weekend and on-call rosters (paid as overtime).

Royal Darwin and Palmerston Regional Hospitals

Royal Darwin Hospital Is a Fully Accredited Tertiary Teaching Hospital And The Largest Hospital In The Northern Territory With Over 400 Beds. The Palmerston Regional Hospital Is a Level 3 Hospital With Over 100 Beds. In Addition To Standard Medical, Surgical And Paediatric Services, Specialty Areas Across The Two Campuses Include

Aboriginal health Renal medicine Critical care units (both adult and neonatal) Tropical diseases Mental health services Maternity services Emergency Care Rehabilitation Geriatrics Ambulatory Care
