⚠️ Requirements
Applicants who already hold a valid work or residence visa for Japan are welcome to apply. Please note that tourist or temporary visas are not accepted for immediate start positions.
If you require visa sponsorship, you must meet the following criteria:
● Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
● Have completed at least 12 years of education in which English was the main language of instruction used for all classes (i.e. all classes were taught primarily in English).
⚠️Highly Preferred
Those with two or more of following will be given priority consideration:
● Prior teaching experience with young learners (especially experience in Japan)
● Holding an ESL-related certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc)
● Holding a valid Japanese driver's license and willing to drive
● Conversational-level Japanese speaking/listening skills
