German-Speaking Business Development Agent (Partnerships & Affiliate)

Full-Time | Remote

The Opportunity
This is a commercial, people-facing role. You'll look after the company's partner relationships, sell advertising placements on its website and newsletter, and help bring in new brands and shops. If you enjoy building relationships, negotiating deals and seeing the results of your work in the numbers, this role gives you real ownership from day one. Affiliate experience is a plus, but we're equally open to strong communicators from sales, account management or partnerships who want to grow in this space.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent German is a must, as most partners are in the DACH region

• Good English

• Experience in a commercial role such as sales, business development, account management, partnerships or marketing

• Confidence negotiating and building relationships with business partners

• Comfort working with numbers and performance data, and a willingness to learn affiliate metrics like commissions and conversion rates

• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT to work faster and handle a busy inbox

• Self-driven and organised, able to work independently in a remote setup

• Affiliate marketing, e-commerce or cashback experience is a strong plus

Backgrounds That Tend to Fit Well

• Affiliate, partnerships or influencer marketing roles

• Account Manager or Key Account Manager in B2B or e-commerce

• Business Development or Sales Representative with experience closing deals

• Media sales or advertising sales roles

• Performance or digital marketing roles with some partner-facing work
