About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The Business Systems team empowers Robinhood’s workforce by delivering secure, scalable, and innovative internal technology solutions that support critical functions across Finance, Compliance & Legal, and HR & Recruiting. The team’s mission is to simplify complex internal workflows, unlock efficiency, and enable teams to operate at their best through thoughtfully designed systems and tools.

The Agentic Apps team builds and scales intelligent, agent-driven systems that power both internal tools and broader AI initiatives at Robinhood. Our mission is to make agentic AI practical and production-ready by providing intuitive tooling, robust full-stack systems, and strong quality foundations that allow teams to experiment quickly, deploy confidently, and scale reliably.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Agentic, you’ll sit on the Agentic Apps team while focusing specifically on Corporate Engineering and Business Systems initiatives. In this role, you’ll design and build AI-powered internal applications and agents that are used daily by Robinhood employees. You’ll work end to end across frontend, backend, and AI orchestration layers to deliver reliable, user-friendly tools that meaningfully improve how internal teams work, applying agentic AI in a product-driven way rather than through research or model development.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and Bellevue, WA office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain full-stack tools and frameworks that enable teams to develop and deploy AI-powered internal applications.
  • Design and implement client- and server-side systems to support scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions.
  • Develop workflows and tooling for agent development, enabling rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iteration.
  • Build internal AI products ranging from workflow automation to full internal platforms used across the company.
  • Collaborate closely with AI engineers and internal stakeholders to deliver reusable libraries, abstractions, and tooling.
  • Help shape how agentic AI is applied across Robinhood, with a focus on reliability, usability, and long-term impact.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally in AI, ML, or data-heavy environments.
  • Strong experience building frontend and backend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
  • Experience working with LLMs and agentic systems, including prompt engineering, orchestration, or RAG-style patterns.
  • Solid product and UX instincts, especially for internal or enterprise tools.
  • Comfort working in large codebases or monorepos (e.g., Bazel) and shipping production-grade systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a mindset focused on building developer- and user-friendly platforms.

What we offer

  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career.
  • Performance-driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching.
  • Best-in-class benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents.
  • Lifestyle wallet — a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more.
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits.
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
