Software Engineering Manager

Genesys seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing front-end team in Ireland. You will lead developers building AI-powered conversational solutions, contribute to the Digital Platform architecture, and work on tools and infrastructure challenges. The role involves people leadership (1:1s, performance reviews, career development, hiring), delivery of roadmap-aligned features with predictable execution, and technical ownership of front-end architecture using TypeScript, ReactJS, Web-components, Playwright, Jenkins, and Git. Key responsibilities include mentoring engineers, fostering high-performance culture, maintaining engineering best practices through design reviews and PR oversight, and partnering with Product and UX teams. Requirements: proven track record in team lead or development manager role with people management experience; hands-on software development experience ideally in TypeScript with ReactJS or JavaScript knowledge; understanding of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and best practices; DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Git); Agile environment experience with cross-functional collaboration skills. Desirable skills include UI Frameworks, Web-components, testing frameworks, accessibility knowledge, and experience scaling engineering teams.
