We are looking for vibrant, communicative, and solution-oriented individuals to join our Online Retail Project in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. In this role, you will be the voice of a leading global e-commerce brand, ensuring that every customer journey is seamless, professional, and positive.
The OpportunityThis is a full-time, fully on-site position based in our state-of-the-art offices in Umhlanga. You will work within a multicultural team, supporting German-speaking customers across Europe. Whether you are an experienced customer service professional or a motivated individual looking to break into the international business services sector, we provide the training and platform for you to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Support: Handle inbound queries via phone, email, and live chat regarding orders, deliveries, returns, and payment processes.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve customer issues with a focus on "first-contact resolution," ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest retail trends, platform updates, and promotional campaigns to provide accurate information.
- Data Integrity: Accurately log all customer interactions in our CRM system to help improve the overall shopping experience.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful tone that reflects the premium values of our retail partner.
- Linguistic Proficiency: Minimum B2 level in German and B2 level in English (both written and verbal).
- Education: Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or a call center environment is a definite advantage but not a requirement. We value attitude and potential.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and type with speed and accuracy.
- Soft Skills: Strong empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliability: A commitment to working full-time on-site in Umhlanga.
