Job Description
J-1 / H-1B Eligible Interventional Radiologist Opportunity – Western New YorkPosition Overview
RecruitWell is partnering with a nonprofit hospital system in Jamestown to recruit a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist. This is a full-time, employed opportunity offering exceptional work–life balance, visa sponsorship, and a broad interventional and diagnostic practice.
Schedule & Practice Model
- Monday–Friday day shifts
- No call, no weekends
- Single-site practice (no travel between facilities)
- Employed, nonprofit health system
- PSLF eligible
Immigration Support
- J-1 sponsorship available (2027)
- H-1B candidates welcome
Compensation & Incentives
- Base salary range: $510,941 – $599,486
- Productivity incentive: No cap
- Sign-on bonus: $100,000
- CME stipend and CME days
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
Final compensation is determined by experience, training, and market factors and may include incentive-based compensation.
Clinical Scope & Impact
- Broad Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology practice
- Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging
- Opportunity to support and collaborate with:
- Surgical services (pre-op planning and post-op complication management)
- Oncology and Nephrology
- Urology with a focus on minimally invasive strategies
- Opportunity for regional IR clinic development within reasonable driving distance
- Focus on improving length of stay, outcomes, and complication rates
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible / Board Certified (or Canadian Board Certified) in Interventional Radiology
- Eligible for unrestricted New York medical license
- DEA certification
- Commitment to patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
