Technician
— RemoteBuild the First Machines That Define Tomorrow’s Technology
Do you enjoy building complex machines from scratch? Do you like solving technical challenges where precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork truly matter?
In prototype assembly, no two builds are the same. You work on the first versions of advanced systems, the machines that engineers design and the industry depends on. Your work directly influences how new technology performs.
We're currently looking for a High-Tech Prototype Assembler (Mechatronics) to join a leading high-tech manufacturing environment in the Eindhoven region, one of Europe’s most advanced engineering ecosystems. Here, you don’t just assemble parts. You help create the very first working high-tech systems!
The Role
As a Prototype Assembler, you will build complex mechanical and mechatronic prototype systems used in advanced high-tech equipment. You will work closely with engineers and development teams to assemble, test, adjust, and improve systems during the early stages of production.
This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety, technical challenges, and hands-on problem-solving. You will work in a modern, clean, and well-equipped high-tech workshop environment where precision and quality are essential.
What Makes Prototype Work Different
- You build first-of-a-kind systems
- You work on low-volume, high-complexity projects
- You collaborate directly with engineers
- You solve technical challenges during assembly and troubleshooting is a part of your daily tasks
- You continuously learn new technologies
- Your input helps improve the final product
This is technical craftsmanship at the highest level.
What You Will Do
- Assemble complex mechanical and mechatronic prototype systems from technical drawings
- Perform precision measurements and alignment of components
- Test, adjust, and troubleshoot systems during assembly
- Identify and resolve technical issues together with engineers
- Work in a structured high-tech or cleanroom environment
- Contribute ideas to improve assembly methods and product performance
- Document assembly steps and findings during the prototype phase
Why This Role Is Interesting
- You work on unique prototype machines, not repetitive production
- You are involved in the development phase of advanced technology
- You gain broad technical experience across mechanical and mechatronic systems
- You work in a highly professional high-tech environment
- You develop strong problem-solving and technical skills
- You build systems used in industries such as: Semiconductor, Aerospace, High-tech equipment, Precision manufacturing, and Defence
