RPO Recruitment’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Millwrights to join their technical services team in Meppel, Netherlands. Please note that visa and sponsorship assistance provided. This is an exciting international opportunity for a skilled professional with both mechanical and electrical experience, particularly in a production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, inspections, fault finding, and optimizations across various industrial machines. This is a full-time, onsite position with long-term potential and excellent remuneration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery

• Conduct preventive inspections and carry out corrective maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve faults on electrical components and PLC systems

• Work on mechanical elements such as conveyor belts, motors, and bearings

• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency optimization

• Switch effectively between projects and operate independently under pressure

Requirements:

• Matric, N3 or N4 qualification

• Trade Test: Red Seal / Section 13 certified

• National Diploma or N1–N6 qualifications (advantageous)

• Completed a 3-year apprenticeship

• Fluent in Afrikaans

• Willing to relocate and work in the Netherlands for 2 years or longer

• Experience with PLC fault finding and basic programming

• Industrial automation experience (advantageous)

• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
