Our client is one of the largest boutique US tax firms headquartered in Northern Europe, specialising in US expatriate tax services for individuals across Europe. A handful of the team are based in the Netherlands, and visa sponsorship is available for candidates interested in relocating there.

They are after a 100% remote US Tax Professional, with flexibility on seniority depending on meeting the key criteria. You’ll need substantial experience in US expat tax and be able to step in immediately, handling a heavy workload of mostly straightforward returns i.e. lots of 1116, 8858, Schedules C and E, plus some 8621s and a handful of 5471s.

Job Description

Able to step in immediately and handle a heavy workload of straightforward returns – lots of 1116, 8858, Schedules C and E, plus some 8621s and a handful of 5471s
Confident preparing around 150 returns and reviewing another 150
Comfortable switching between preparation and review work as needed
Ideally based in Europe, or at least experienced with European returns
Capable of some client-facing work and light advisory alongside compliance
This is a senior-level contributor role (not management)
