The Consultant Psychiatrist will join a specialist mental health service delivering care across a diverse range of forensic and secure environments, including:

* High-security inpatient units
* Secure rehabilitation services
* Extended treatment programs
* Prison-based mental health services
* Statewide services for individuals with intellectual disability



* Provide **senior medical leadership** within a high-security inpatient forensic setting
* Deliver expert psychiatric assessment, treatment, and risk management
* Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated, high-quality care
* Contribute to **clinical governance**, service development, and quality improvement
* Supervise and educate medical and clinical staff, supporting workforce development
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care
