Are you a qualified Pharmacist, or a Pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification, passionate about delivering high-quality patient care?

We're working with a respected pharmacy group operating across Scotland, currently seeking a dynamic Pharmacist to join their team in Thurso.

• If you're a Prescriber already, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the local community by providing enhanced clinical services through Pharmacy First Plus.
• If not yet a Prescriber, this company will help you to achieve this by providing support and insight so that you can become an IP ASAP

Salary based on Av. 44.5 HRS P/W (inc. alt Saturday)

Key Duties:

• Dispense/prescribe medications safely and effectively, adhering to legal and professional standards
• Use clinical judgment to make informed decisions, considering patient history, allergies, comorbidities, and preferences
• Benefit from a supportive environment with centralised dispensing and accuracy checkers, allowing you to focus on clinical care
• If an IP, deliver patient-focused services in line with the Pharmacy First Plus initiative, with additional financial incentives for enhanced care

Package and Benefits:

• Starting at £52,500 - £56,500, (with an IP supplement) DoE, and a 6-month performance review for potential salary increase based on KPIs.
• 5 weeks holiday
• Accommodation available (possible relocation package too)
• Tier 2 Visa available

Skills and Qualifications:

• MUST be a qualified, GPhC-registered Pharmacist in the UK(essential)
• Independent Prescriber qualification beneficial
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
