About the Role:
As a Demand Planner, you are a critical driver of our supply chain performance. You build and own a robust global demand plan, balancing customer needs with production realities. You operate at the intersection of data, operations, and customer interaction—ensuring high delivery reliability while tightly controlling inventory and driving efficiency across the production chain.
This role requires a strong, assertive personality: someone who challenges assumptions, makes decisions based on data, and confidently engages with both internal stakeholders and customers in a fast-paced production environment. Your responsibilities are:
- Own and continuously optimize the global demand planning process in a dynamic production environment
- Translate complex data (historical sales, forecasts, market trends) into actionable and accurate demand plans
- Act as a strong business partner to Production, Procurement, Project Management, Account Management, and Logistics
- Engage directly with customers to align expectations and manage demand volatility
- Identify risks and bottlenecks in the supply chain and take decisive action to mitigate them
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes to elevate performance
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or forecasting within a production-driven environment
- Strong analytical skillset—advanced Excel and BI tools are a must
- Proven experience applying Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies
- A confident, proactive personality: you challenge, influence, and drive decisions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including direct customer interaction
- Able to combine deep analytical thinking with a pragmatic, end-to-end business perspective
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
We Offer:
- Long-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
- Monthly gross salary: €4000 – €6000 (based on experience and education).
- 27 paid vacation days + paid public holidays.
- Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually.
- Travel reimbursement.
- Relocation support (if applicable), including:
- Assistance with first housing
- Relocation bonus
- Support with BSN, banking, insurance, and onboarding
- Work permit and visa assistance (if applicable).
- Personal guidance from Xelvin and access to a strong technical network in the Netherlands.
