• Service Medical Registrar opportunities offer rotations through General Medicine departments (including long stay and acute units) and various medical specialties including Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Haematology, Infectious Diseases, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Rehabilitation, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology and Stroke; the ALERT prevention of deterioration service, and multiple transplant services (including cardiac, lung, renal); these roles provide a broad mix of opportunities and experiences.

• Emergency Medical Registrar opportunities offer roles offer a broad range of case load experiences in our adult/paediatric service, roster flexibility, training opportunities and great consultant support.
• The Emergency Departments currently sees over 170,000 patients per annum with 25% paediatric presentations. The admission rate is about 40%, with high acuity presentations.There are currently 45 consultants working in the Emergency Department across all sites including 3 ACEM examiners.The department of Emergency Medicine has a strong educational program and is accredited by ACEM for 2 years of Advanced Vocational training.

Registrar's required for Brisbane/QLD hospitals for the 2024/25 year.

• This is an opportunity for UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, New Zealand PGY5 + Doctors interested in taking a year to specialise in Australia, before returning home to complete their training.

The Roles
12 month contracts specialising in one of the following
Emergency Medicine
General Medicine
Plus most other specialities.
Due to the range of opportunities available you do not need to go it alone – take along a friend/colleague/partner/spouse and experience the year down under together.

The Requirements

• PGY5 +
• MBBS or equivalent to enable registration as a Medical Practitioner with the AHPRA is mandatory
• Candidates must have current medical registration from a comparable health authority
• Comparable health authorities - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia
