Hays Recruitment is seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Boiler Operator for an assignment at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. This unique opportunity involves working in one of the most remote and challenging environments on Earth. Location: McMurdo Station, Antarctica (approximately 1000 residents in summer season, 250 in winter)Rate: $50 per hour (WAGES / PAYE)Deployment Dates: May - September 2026

You should have:Unrestricted NZ Work Rights (no sponsorship or visa variations provided) (WHV and Open Work Visas will be considered)Experience operating and maintaining BoilersNew Zealand Certificate in Energy and Chemical Operations (Boiler Operation) (Level 3)What to expect when you’re down there:
