Manager – Accounts & Commercial (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
— Lippstadt, Germany Be an early applicant 1 week agoWe are looking for an experienced Manager – Accounts & Commercial to join our Client team in Germany. This role is ideal for finance professionals who combine strong accounting expertise with commercial operations, logistics coordination, and stakeholder management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial reporting, management accounts, and MIS reporting for Regional and Global HQ
- Oversee month-end closing activities including provisions, reconciliations, and FOREX valuations
- Coordinate audits and support financial consolidation activities
- Monitor sales forecasts, operational costs, and gross profit margins
- Partner with HO and Regional Finance Teams on accounting, VAT, tax, and compliance matters
- Review and approve vendor payments, employee claims, and corporate expenses
- Support commercial contract negotiations with suppliers, customers, and service providers
- Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and timely collection of receivables
- Improve accounting procedures, controls, and statutory compliance documentation
- Coordinate with customs clearing agents, freight forwarders, and logistics partners for import/export activities
- Manage factory order placements, delivery schedules, and vendor coordination
What We’re Looking For
✔ ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
✔ 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and commercial operations
✔ Knowledge of German or UK accounting standards, VAT, and customs/import procedures
✔ Experience With SAP Or Similar ERP/accounting Systems Preferred
✔ Strong coordination and negotiation skills
✔ Experience in logistics, order management, and vendor handling is highly valued
✔ Fluent English required; German language skills are a strong advantage
