We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator & Project Manager to join a leading national tier two construction company, known for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors including health, education, residential, civic, commercial, and specialist facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on projects valued up to $20 million, based in Cairns, while contributing to a company renowned for quality, innovation, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and management of construction contracts, including subcontractor agreements, variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality targets are met.
  • Monitor commercial performance and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in contracts administration and project management within construction projects.
  • Experience in health, education, or residential projects preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and risk management expertise.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Cairns, QLD.
