Job Details
Shift Availability:
Our shifts are exclusively between 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM Monday-Friday; we do not offer morning or weekend shifts.
Position:
This is a support role within our childcare facilities located in the Tokyo area. We have the following schools: Tokyo Adventure School, Shinagawa, Yokohama, Tama Plaza, and Setagaya.
At KKIS, children attend formal classes during the day and join our daycare program in the afternoon. Your responsibilities will include supervising nap time, overseeing park play, facilitating arts and crafts, managing afternoon snacks, tending to basic care needs such as changing nappies (diapers), some cleaning duties, and more.
Requirements:
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Available in the afternoons.
Passionate about working with young children.
Currently residing in Japan with a valid work visa.
We offer:
Hourly wage starting at ¥1,270, with potential increases up to ¥1,350 based on performance.
Coverage of transportation costs up to ¥40,000.
Paid holidays, calculated based on days worked per week.
Initial training and onboarding through seminars and daycare observations.
Potential progression to full-time roles such as Class Assistant or Lead Class Teacher.

Have a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Experience in customer service or childcare is a plus.
Passionate about education and bilingualism.
Physically and mentally fit (medical examination required).

Proficiency in Japanese or Mandarin Chinese.
Valid first aid qualifications.
Preschool, Kindergarten, or ECE qualifications.
