About the role
This is a pivotal commercial role focused on driving Canvas8’s growth across APAC through strategic relationship building. As Regional Growth Manager, your mission is to be the ‘architect of opportunity’, originating high-value deals by embedding yourself within the insights community. You will be helping to establish a strong, credible presence for Canvas8 in key APAC markets, including Singapore and Hong Kong.
Sitting at the heart of the sales function, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Canvas8 shows up in the region - leading with thoughtful, insight-driven conversations that resonate with senior stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for building momentum across a defined portfolio of target accounts, turning early engagement into meaningful, long-term partnerships.
Reporting to the APAC Regional Lead and working closely with regional and global colleagues, you’ll contribute to a broader commercial strategy while operating with a high degree of autonomy. Success in this role comes from balancing business development with commercial rigour - growing a high-quality pipeline, strengthening market presence, and laying the foundations for sustained expansion across APAC.
Day-to-day
- Identify and profile brand target accounts across the three strategic segments within Asia
- Execute high-quality, bespoke multi-channel outreach - crafting sophisticated, insight-led narratives that demonstrate immediate value to senior stakeholders.
- Conduct initial discovery meetings to uncover business challenges, understand how Canvas8 can enable their success, and solutionise how the Canvas8 ecosystem can solve their challenges
- Proactively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for both Canvas8 membership and consultancy services
- Ensure every touchpoint with a prospect is premium, well-researched and adds value. Quality over quantity to build genuine credibility.
- Become a trusted partner to clients in the region and further APAC goals by using consultancy as the strategic door opener
- Build and nurture a robust network of key decision-makers within the marketing and insights ecosystem across Singapore, Hong Kong, and broader APAC markets.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to refine sales strategies and share market insights
- Supporting the regional team with business development support at events
- Maintaining meticulous records of client interactions and sales progress within our CRM system (HubSpot)
- Opportunity to eventually manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and pitching to negotiation and close

Requirements
- 5–7 years in B2B new business sales within marketing or consulting industries
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle sales (from prospecting to closing deals), with a focus on new business
- Experience working within the Singapore and/or Hong Kong marketing, insights, or agency ecosystem
- Exceptional ability to craft high-quality, insight-led outreach that cuts through to time-poor decision-makers
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
- A passion for networking and building a high-value network
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage a diverse portfolio of clients and prospects, and drive results across multiple markets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM management and sales pipeline planning

- The base salary range for this position is S$70,000 - S$75,000 dependent on experience + uncapped commission (a realistic OTE of S$95,000 - S$125,000)
