Overview of Our Kindergarten Nazareth Kindergarten is a Kindergarten-Type Center for Early Childhood Education and Care operated by the Shion Gakuen Educational Corporation. We offer a unique educational curriculum, including mountain play in rich natural environments, corner-based learning where children can pursue their own interests, cultural experiences such as Shimai (Noh theatre dance) and tea ceremony etiquette to experience the beauty of Japanese culture, and parent-child grape-picking trips in Yamanashi Prefecture. We have approximately 200 children. For ages 2 to 5, we offer two tracks: the Standard Course, taught in Japanese by Japanese teachers, and the Bilingual Course, co-taught in English by a native English-speaking instructor and a Japanese teacher. Our Bilingual Course is neither an international school nor an English-tutoring academy; rather, it conducts traditional Japanese early childhood education in English. The defining feature of this course is that children receive authentic English education while grounding themselves in Japanese culture and etiquette. Main Responsibilities * Childcare and education * Bus monitoring during pickups/drop-offs * Extended daycare supervision * Parent communication and support * Cleaning and maintenance * Participation in Noh dance (Shimai) and traditional etiquette sessions Working Hours Shift system (1-year variable working hours system): * 7:30 – 16:30 * 8:00 – 17:00 * 8:30 – 17:30 * 9:30 – 18:30 * 10:00 – 19:00 Standard schedule is Monday through Friday. Weekend/holiday shifts may occur for annual events.
