Involved in ports, mines & heavy industry, you’ll provide management support whilst managing the day to day needs of teams undertaking structural engineering designs, inspections, investigations and repair designs for a range of clients and client sites.
This will be ideally suited to:
- STEP UP: An experienced Senior Structural Engineer with demonstrated business unit, team management and engineering design skills, who is ready to step up to the next level, or
- MOVE UP: An established Lead or Principal Structural Engineer with design, technical and people management skills.
- Coordinate resources to execute work on time, budget & quality
- Manage and mentor engineers and drafters
- Provide technical support and guidance to the business
- Coordinate and manage higher level projects
- Manage clients including some business development functions
- Impeccable verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills
- High level technical ability in structural design in materials handling
- Bulk materials handling exp. (shiploaders, stacker/reclaimers AS4324)
- FEA modeling exp eg Strand7 and SpaceGass
- Ability to lead and manage engineering teams
- Ability to develop new and foster existing client relationships
- Hold RPEQ and/or CPEng
