Manual Tester (Retail & POS)

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a Manual Tester with hands-on experience in retail systems and POS environments. The role focuses on ensuring application quality through comprehensive manual testing and validation of end-to-end retail business workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases based on business requirements
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate retail workflows, including billing, inventory, promotions, and transactions
• Test POS systems, covering payments, refunds, receipts, and device interactions
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using standard tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience in manual testing within retail or POS environments
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and workflows
• Experience in POS system testing (payments, refunds, device integration)
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira or similar)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
