Remote Recruitment is hiring a Invoicing Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

Remote Recruitment places South African talent with UK employers, and this is a full-time, 100% remote position working UK business hours. In this role, you will own invoice creation and sending so a UK business gets paid on time. You will join a friendly team, work with clear processes, and have the support you need to do your best work from home.

We look for people who are dependable, communicate clearly and take pride in getting the details right. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you, whatever your background.

Key responsibilities

  • Raise and send customer invoices accurately and on schedule
  • Check orders and timesheets against invoice details
  • Correct and reissue invoices when errors are found
  • Track unpaid invoices and pass queries to the right person
  • Keep the invoicing log up to date

What you'll need

  • Experience raising invoices, with examples of accuracy under deadlines
  • Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Zoho Books
  • Good Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • A reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace
  • Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)

Nice to have

  • Experience with recurring billing
  • Familiarity with UK VAT on invoices
  • Experience with Stripe or GoCardless
