The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Clinical Specialist for Dental Solutions Division, South Africa, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Ensuring full compliance with Solventum Code of Conduct, SAMED, and MedTech guidelines in all HCP (Health Care Professional) interactions

Leads the on-label clinical evidence discussions with internal and external end-users (sales, commercialization teams and external HCPs)

Leads the understanding of product acceptance/performance in clinical use
-
Presents approved non-branded educational programs to HCPs & Universities
-
Participating and presenting at various tradeshows and special educational events
-
Implements & executes customer evaluation feedback for company products
-
Supports regulatory with product troubleshooting
-
Active participation in standards setting, local guidelines and professional association meetings
-
Willingness to travel Nationally and work after hours when required
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution AND minimum of four (4) years of dental clinical work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

National Senior Certificate AND minimum of eight (8) years of dental clinical work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

Excellent presentation and educational skills
-
Proven experience of education and teaching using simulation and workshop approaches
-
High level of proficiency in office desktop applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)

Proven experience supporting clinical and commercial tender processes within a regulated healthcare environment

Fluent in English with the ability to communicate complex clinical and product information clearly to healthcare professionals, internal teams, and commercial stakeholders
-
Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Postgraduate Diploma in field of direct or indirect restorative dentistry from an accredited institution
Work location: South Africa, Johannesburg

Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to customer sites and Head Office in Fourways Sandton as required.
Travel: May include up to 75% [mainly domestic/limited international]
Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized for this position
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
