Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.

The Intensive Care Unit of Peninsula Private Hospital is a busy 11-bedded Unit admitting in excess of 1500 patients annually. The unit has a predominantly post-operative case mix with a wide variety of patients including complex Cardio-thoracic, upper GI, Neurosurgical patients, and Orthopaedic patients.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available from candidates with critical care experience interested in becoming part of our busy and dynamic department.

About You:

  • Applicants must be at least 4 years postgraduate with experience in critical care (ICU, Anaesthetics or ED).
  • Hold unconditional AHPRA Registration (essential)
  • Be available for flexible shift work over a 7-day roster (12-hour shifts)
  • ALS / CALS certification (desirable)
  • Must hold additional private indemnity insurance (Ramsay will provide employee indemnity on
