Working in Canada
Possible country route: Employer-specific work permit. A job offer is usually needed for an employer-specific permit. The employer may need an LMIA or an exemption. Express Entry permanent residence is a separate process.
IRCC times depend on the work-permit category and application country. Use the live processing-time tool; employer LMIA processing, if needed, is separate.
What to check before applying
- Confirm permit and employer steps. Ask whether an LMIA or exemption applies to the offer.
- Check the application country. Use IRCC requirements and the current processing-time tool.
- Apply for the correct permit. A job offer alone does not authorise work or entry.
Reviewed 2026-10-14. Country routes are context, not a confirmation that this vacancy or your passport qualifies.

- Create static and short-form video content
- Own The Pets Table blog, including researching topics, writing, and publishing content
- Source and manage user-generated content, customer testimonials, and advocate outreach
- Support our influencer program, from creator sourcing and outreach to briefing, shipping product, and tracking results
- Partner with our paid social lead on creative testing, applying what works organically to paid ads
- Prep and support product and lifestyle photoshoots as needed
- Stay on top of social trends and test new content formats and platform features
- Report on weekly and monthly performance and turn results into next steps
- All other duties, as assigned

- 2-3 years of experience in social media, content, digital or brand marketing
- Hands-on experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear brand voice
- Experience managing social calendars and executing content strategies in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Experience writing blog or long-form content
- Experience with social management and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social
- Comfort working in spreadsheets and analytics dashboards
- Experience working cross-functionally with paid teams on creative strategy
- Experience with design and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe, including editing on the go
- Experience negotiating or managing creator partnerships, including usage and whitelisting terms, is a strong plus
- Experience with consumer, pet, or food brands is a plus
- Experience in front of the camera is a plus
- Embraces AI and emerging technologies to speed up content production, outreach, and admin, and to unlock new ideas
- You are:

- Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable working both strategically and in the weeds
- A natural relationship-builder, with strong instincts for working with creators and customers
- Resourceful, working well on a team or on your own without waiting for clear instructions
- Adaptable, able to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without losing momentum
- Comfortable with social analytics and using data to inform what we post next
