Choose your specialty: We’re looking for experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses to join our team on a permanent full-time basis in:

  • Orthopaedics Scrub/Scout
  • Cardiac Scrub/Scout
  • Anaesthetics

Ramsay Private Hospital National Capital has a long-standing reputation for clinical excellence, patient safety and strong partnerships with our medical teams. Located in Canberra and co-located with The Canberra Hospital, our 148-bed acute private hospital offers an exciting and diverse clinical environment where you can build your skills and be part of a high-performing team, with 9 operating theatres, a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab, a 22-bed Intensive Care Unit and an 18-bed Coronary Care Unit.

A manageable on-call roster: No Obstetrics, Paediatrics or Ophthalmology services.

Competitive remuneration: ($40.97–$55.37 per hr) + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (ACT/Nursing EA/yr1,level 1-8).

About You

You’ll be an experienced Perioperative RN with strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to excellent patient care, teamwork and professional growth. You’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years’ current Perioperative experience in the specialty you apply for
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Mako & Cori Robotic Arthroplasty experience (highly regarded)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • A collaborative, patient-focused approach
  • Flexibility to participate in on-call roster.
  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
