DMS and Recovery or separation technology experience.

Role: Maintenance Planner

Experience and Role profile:

• Implement maintenance strategies and develop maintenance procedures.
• Conducted preventative/proactive maintenance planning.
• Conduct Planned/scheduled Maintenance/Repairs.
• Utilize latest maintenance management tools to ensure effective maintenance of all operational assets.
• Proactively manage communication and relationships with clients.
• Apply the latest maintenance safety technologies to ensure best maintenance safety performance and statutory compliance.
• Analyse and screen corrective maintenance (CM) job cards and burning maintenance issues for opportunities to perform root cause failure analysis to prevent future failure.
• Assist Maintenance supervisors with technical problems as may be required from time to time.
• Coordinate root cause analysis.
• Analyse spare parts inventory requirements and continuously improve inventory control.
• Compile periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually) to ensure Management has up to date information for decision making.
• Comply with safety, health, security and environmental standards.
• Implement Management’s procurement requirements for spares, materials and outsourced work.
• Coordinate the drawing of detailed maintenance tasks per asset.

Required:

• Knowledge of diamond plants and DMS and Recovery circuits.
• Auditing skills.
• Basic Computer and MS office Skills.
• Understanding /knowledge of maintenance process & principles.
• Minimum Artisan trade test.
• Valid SA drivers License
• Experience within a Maintenance Planner role Min 3-5 Years.
