Working in United States

Possible country route: H-1B / other employer-petition routes. H-1B normally starts with an employer petition for a qualifying specialty occupation. Cap-subject cases also have registration and selection requirements; other routes differ.

Registration, petition and consular stages differ. Selection is not guaranteed and premium petition processing is not an end-to-end visa timeline.

What to check before applying
  1. Confirm the intended route. Ask whether the employer will petition and whether the position is cap-exempt.
  2. Check petition requirements. Use USCIS instructions for the applicable category and cap process.
  3. Coordinate consular and entry steps. An approved petition and a work-authorised start date are different milestones.

Description (EN)

SLSQ128R22

As a Strategic Core Account Executive, your mission will be to lead the executive relationship, overall consumption growth, and cross-enterprise expansion across a select group of Databricks’ largest strategic accounts in Korea.

This role is centered on expanding our strategic footprint within complex conglomerates and large enterprises. You will position Databricks as the enterprise-wide standard for data, analytics, and generative AI by identifying new buying centers, driving multi-million-dollar commitments, and accelerating workload consumption. Working as the general manager of your named accounts, you will orchestrate specialized cross-functional teams, executive sponsors, and global partners to unlock mission-critical customer transformations.

You will report to the Director of Sales, Korea.

The impact you will have:

  • Own and grow total annual contract value (ACV), consumption revenue, and customer lifetime value within a dedicated portfolio of Korea's largest strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Build and execute multi-year strategic account plans that align Databricks capabilities directly with the customer’s strategic transformation roadmaps.

  • Systematically uncover new buying centers and business units across corporate subsidiaries, expanding adoption from initial workloads to company-wide standardization.

  • Build and maintain C-level and board-level relationships across both technology and business functions (CEO, CIO, CDO, BU Presidents).

  • Drive widespread consumption growth by collaborating with customer success, forward-deployed engineering, and professional services teams.

  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, long-term multi-year enterprise license agreements, and consumption commit structures.

  • Coordinate deeply with strategic global and domestic SI partners and Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deliver mission-critical solutions at enterprise scale.

What we look for:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, managing top-tier named accounts or conglomerate groups in Korea.

  • Proven track record of closing 8-figure / multi-million-dollar complex cloud, PaaS, or enterprise software agreements.

  • Deep expertise in consumption-based business models, workload migration, and cloud/data modernization.

  • Mastery of enterprise sales disciplines (MEDDPICC, Value Realization, Executive Relationship Management, and Matrix Account Planning).

  • Proven experience orchestrating matrixed internal resources (Pre-sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Legal, Executive Sponsors).

  • Established executive networks across major Korean conglomerates.

  • Native-level fluency in Korean is required and fluent, professional business English is preferred.
