Confirm requirements with employer
🇸🇬 Working in Singapore
Possible country route: Employment Pass. An employer or employment agent applies. Salary, qualifications and the COMPASS framework may apply; an advertised relocation perk is not approval.
Online Employment Pass applications are processed or receive an update within 10 business days. Extra checks can extend this; pass issuance is a separate step.
What to check before applying
- Ask the employer to assess eligibility. Check current salary and COMPASS requirements on MOM.
- Employer submits the application. Confirm required documents and any recruitment advertising obligations.
- Wait for in-principle approval. Follow entry and pass issuance instructions rather than assuming the application permits work.
Reviewed 2026-10-14. Country routes are context, not a confirmation that this vacancy or your passport qualifies.
