🇳🇱 Working in Netherlands

Possible country route: Highly Skilled Migrant / EU Blue Card. The highly skilled migrant route normally requires an IND recognised employer and the applicable salary requirement. A residence card in another EU state does not automatically grant Dutch work permission.

What to check before applying
  1. Verify the sponsor. Check the IND recognised-sponsor register and confirm who submits the application.
  2. Confirm the salary category. Ask the employer which current income requirement applies.
  3. Prepare entry and residence documents. The need for an MVV depends on nationality and circumstances; check IND.
