Global Village International Preschool is seeking enthusiastic, professional Early Childhood Educators to join our teaching faculty for the 2027 academic year across our three Northern Osaka campuses: Senrioka, Yamada, and Takatsuki. Established in 2001, Global Village offers an inquiry-based English immersion programme where young learners develop curiosity, confidence, and foundational skills. As a direct-hire institution, we invest in our teaching team through competitive remuneration, training and ongoing support, and a collaborative school environment. Applications are welcome from candidates locally in Kansai, educators relocating from across Japan, and overseas applicants requiring visa sponsorship. =========== Start Dates =========== • March 2027 (Preferred Start): Includes paid training, classroom and curriculum orientation prior to the new term. • 1st April 2027: Official start of the 2027 Japanese academic year (suited for educators completing existing school contracts ending 31st March). (Note: A very limited early start from mid-January 2027 may be considered selectively on a case-by-case basis for outstanding candidates). =========== What We Offer =========== • Competitive Remuneration: ¥295,000 to ¥315,000 per month. • Direct-Hire Security: Stable, long-term employment directly with the school (no third-party dispatch agencies). • Visa Sponsorship: Employer visa sponsorship and renewal documentation provided for eligible candidates. • Commuting Allowance: Travel expenses reimbursed up to a set monthly cap. • Paid Leave: Statutory annual paid leave plus scheduled school holidays throughout the academic year. • Collaborative & Supportive Culture: A welcoming bilingual team environment, training workshops, and accessible guidance from our dedicated training team. =========== Core Responsibilities =========== • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons within an inquiry-based, child-centred preschool and kindergarten setting. • Support children’s holistic development through interactive play, hands-on discovery, and English immersion. • Communicate constructively with parents regarding children's progress and daily classroom life. • Collaborate with bilingual co-teachers and school leadership for lessons, seasonal events, and school performances. • Maintain a clean, safe, and positive learning space. =========== Candidate Profile =========== Requirements: • Native or native-level English speaker with excellent communication skills. • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (essential for Japanese visa sponsorship/renewal). • Passion for early years education and a warm, proactive classroom manner. • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork habits. Preferred: • Relevant degree or qualification in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or childcare licensing. • Prior classroom experience teaching young learners (ages 2–6 years). • Valid Japanese residence/work permissions (qualified overseas applicants are also considered). =========== How to Apply =========== Please submit: 1. Your up-to-date CV/resume. 2. A brief cover letter outlining your background and your availability for the academic year (March preferred or 1st April). Shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly for an initial online interview.
