About us
Distribusion
is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace and gives travellers seamless access to ground transportation online, from search to ticket purchase. We have built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects bus, rail, and ferry operators in 70+ countries with the biggest online retailers, including Google Maps and Booking.com.

We are shaping the future of travel and building the largest global network of transport providers and retailers. We are one of the fastest-growing startups in travel, backed by two leading VCs (TQ Ventures & Lightrock), and now, following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior People Partner to join our People team and support our Engineering & Product teams. You will provide strategic business partnerships and coaching, develop people-related solutions to meet critical business needs and positively shape the Distribusion people experience.

What you will do:

  • You will be the first People Partner and work closely with the VP of People to onboard yourself into Distribusion's current People philosophies, practices, and processes.

  • You will partner with the Engineering and Product functions to sustainably achieve their growth and development goals.

  • You will partner with the other People functions on all aspects of employment experience.

  • You will build our management team’s capacity through coaching and influencing.

  • You will contribute to the strategy of the teams you support and to the direction of the People Business Partner team.

  • You will foster excellence in the support, motivation, retention, and growth of our talent.

Workplace: Berlin & Hybrid

We are looking for this role based at our headquarters in Berlin. We are a remote-first company, with teams around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets in the office.

Who you are:

  • You bring extensive experience in People Business Partner roles in Germany or the European region.

  • Experience in successfully supporting and developing functions in high-growth phases.

  • You demonstrate outstanding judgment and make consistently good decisions for the company and our team members.

  • You know firsthand the challenges of a growth-stage company, anticipate scaling problems, and are adaptable and curious.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of designing and implementing people programs.

  • Strong leadership qualities with experience managing projects.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and KPIs and a keen interest in leveraging AI and other emerging technologies.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

  • Passionate about the people's development, enablement and success, resonating with the purpose behind the role.

  • Driven, ambitious, and willing to get hands-on in shaping the future of ground transportation travel.

What you can expect:

  • Make a global impact. Help shape how millions of people discover and book ground transportation worldwide.

  • Own your work. Take responsibility from day one and see the direct impact of your contributions.

  • Build with the best tools. We move fast, continuously evolve our tech stack, and invest in modern, efficient solutions.

  • Work with industry leaders. Our partners include Booking.com, Google Maps, Amtrak, Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, and SNCF.

  • Grow with exceptional people. Join an international team that will challenge, support, and inspire you every day.

  • Work your way. Enjoy flexible and remote-friendly working options, relocation opportunities, and plenty of room to grow.
