We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Singapore for our hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline through our Cloud Partners
  • Work with our Sales team to close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  • Own, on behalf of VP - Area Sales, all things cloud partner related
  • Manage Cloud Service Partners, AWS, Microsoft and Google Cloud across ASEAN.
  • Collaborate with Global Pillar teams for backup and support.
  • Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, advanced sales training, and leadership development programs
  • Educate and enable the internal sales organization on Cloud Service Providers (CSP) engagement processes and broader co-sell motions to accelerate deal cycles
  • Design and execute joint partner programs, marketing activities, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Recruit and build strong, effective partner relationships, resulting in growth opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business
  • 7+ years of quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through Cloud Partners, in a heavy sales matrix model
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware
  • Passionate about growing your career in the largest market in software (database) and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products
  • Driven and competitive: Possess a strong desire to be successful
  • Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
  • BA/BS required
  • A plus - Familiarity with databases, devops and open source technology
