HELP US HELP THE WORLD AGREE FASTER
Juro has big ambitions: to make it incredibly easy for anyone to agree and manage legal contracts. And we'll need help doing it.
Legal tech is on the rise, with Goldman Sachs estimating that 44% of legal tasks can be automated with generative AI. With the brand we have built and the agility of early stage we are well placed to capture this opportunity.
Juro bills customers and pays suppliers across UK and US entities, and the volume keeps growing. We’re looking for someone who carries the day-to-day weight of finance operations together with the team.
Roughly 60% of your week goes on AP/AR, and the rest is month-end and reporting support: reconciliations, revenue review, and pulling together what’s needed for statutory accounts, audit requests and VAT returns.
You won’t be doing this alone: you’ll work closely with Charlotte, our Financial Controller, who owns the close, and Ryan, our Interim Finance Director (stepping in for Eimear), who leads the Finance function.
Your mission is to:Own invoicing, payables and collections end-to-end so Juro gets paid efficiently, accurately and with strong control of cash, and support month-end so leadership can trust the numbers.
Success looks like:Invoices done right first time: Contracts are turned into accurate invoices with minimal rework or back-and-forth with Sales and Customer Success.
Money moving smoothly: Customers pay on time and suppliers are paid accurately across our UK and US entities. You keep an up-to-date view of what’s owed in and out, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) comes down over time.
Reliable month-end support: Your reconciliations are accurate and on time, you flag escalations early, and you contribute to month-end, revenue review and statutory reporting.
Solid, scalable ops: Processes are well controlled (from supplier onboarding and bank detail checks to payment run approvals), audit-ready, and increasingly automated inside Rillet (our ERP) and Ramp (our spend management system). You improve the process notes rather than just following them.
We care about building a diverse team where everyone feels they belong. That’s why our perks & benefits and choice-first work approach are designed with inclusivity in mind. Read more in our diversity, inclusion & belonging hub.
WHO WE LOOK FOR
Research shows that while men apply to jobs if they meet ~60% of criteria, women and those in traditionally under-represented groups tend to apply only if they check all boxes. So if you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
To succeed here:Every Juror finds their balance across our four principles. We hire, develop and celebrate people who live them every day.
Curious how you’d fit? Try our personality quiz to see how you map against our principles.
On top of that, you have been part of a journey where:You’ve done both AR and AP: raising invoices, handling billing queries, chasing payments or paying suppliers.
You’ve been the #1 point of contact for customers or suppliers on billing and payments. You can be firm about an overdue balance without damaging the relationship, and you keep Sales, CS and budget holders in the loop.
You’ve helped with a month-end, e.g. by doing bank or ledger reconciliations.
You’ve used finance systems day to day (NetSuite, Rillet, Xero, Ramp or similar) and pick up new tools quickly.
You read contracts carefully enough to know what should be invoiced, when, and what’s unclear, and you work with Sales and CS to get it right.
You notice repetitive manual work and want to fix it, whether that’s with a better spreadsheet, an automation or AI.
Bonus points if:You’ve worked with SaaS contracts or subscription billing.
You’ve helped with VAT returns, US sales tax, revenue reporting or audit requests.
You’ve worked in a multi-entity (UK/US) business with multi-currency invoicing.
This job likely isn’t for you if:You’re mainly looking for formal accounting training or a pathway to becoming ACA-qualified.
You want to own the month-end close or focus on technical accounting, rather than a hands-on mix of finance operations and reporting support.
You prefer clearly defined, static processes and don’t enjoy owning messy, real-world problems and making them better (especially with AI).
OUR MISSION
Juro exists to help the world agree faster by making it incredibly easy for anyone to agree and manage legal contracts.
The load on legal teams is increasing as business teams move faster with the help of AI. The only way out is to deploy AI within the legal team so that (a) routine contract work can be executed autonomously and (b) lawyers’ time is reserved for problem solving.
It’s like having an extra team member that is always on and takes on heavy lifting. Just like an in-house lawyer, Juro:
is present for, and trusted by, business teams
owns contracts from first draft to signature and beyond
builds judgement from every contract it works on
…all within guardrails controlled by the legal team.
