Job Description Summary

#LI-Onsite (The role will start in a three-shift pattern, with a planned transition to a five-shift schedule as operations expand.)
Location: Baarle Nassau, Netherlands
Relocation Support: This role is based in Baarle Nassau, Netherlands. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support: please only apply if accessible.

Play a key role in keeping critical production equipment running smoothly. As a Production Support Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and integrity of manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment, working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and improve processes that support safe and reliable operations. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and attention to detail will make a real difference every day.


 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to support reliable operation of production equipment.

  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement timely, effective technical solutions.

  • Execute inspection and calibration activities in line with defined protocols and standards.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical challenges and align priorities.

  • Manage spare parts administration in coordination with maintenance and reliability engineering.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement through input on equipment and process enhancements.

  • Develop technical documentation and support training for production operators where needed.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field with relevant maintenance experience.

  • Proven experience in maintenance and facility engineering within a production environment.

  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as Good Manufacturing Practice.

  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment maintenance.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
