Inventory Analyst

Synopsis

Analyze technical inventory and supply chain data to support material availability, inventory optimization and business performance. Develop KPIs, dashboards and management reports to provide data-driven business recommendations.

Independently support projects and improvement initiatives from requirements through testing, implementation and post-implementation support. Coordinate with stakeholders, manage deliverables and drive actions to closure.

Accountabilities

• Analyze inventory, stores and supply chain performance, develop KPIs and dashboards, and recommend improvements.
• Perform inventory and operational analysis to support business decisions.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, Excel analysis, reports and PowerPoint presentations to provide clear business insights.
• Support projects and process improvements, including requirements, analysis, testing, implementation and post-implementation support.
• Independently manage tasks, projects and analytical initiatives, track progress and drive actions to closure.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues and follow up on deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for reporting, process and workflow automation using appropriate digital tools.
• Prepare management reports, project updates, business cases, presentations and ad-hoc analysis.
• Support inventory strategies, business processes, controls, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple priorities while demonstrating ownership, proactive follow-up, attention to detail and delivery under pressure.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in inventory, supply chain, data analytics, business analysis or project activities, preferably in aviation industry.
• Good understanding of aviation inventory, stores, materials management and supply chain processes, including operational KPIs.
• Good understanding of aviation ERP/MRO inventory and materials management systems, preferably AMOS or a comparable aviation MRO/ERP platform.
• Advanced Microsoft Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Good working knowledge of SQL/Oracle for data extraction, validation and analysis.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and/or Python for automation and data analysis would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and developing practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with proactive communication, coordination, and follow-up.
• Good PowerPoint, presentation and business communication skills for presenting analysis, project status, and recommendations.
• Proactive, assertive, self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work independently, own deliverables and perform under pressure.
