Key Accountabilities

Perform paint colour mixing and formulation to achieve the required vehicle shade.
Use computer systems and paint-mixing software/programs effectively.
Deliver high-quality vehicle refinishing with good efficiency, contributing to customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Identify equipment-related issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow Management instructions and SOPs for proper equipment handling.
Follow technical specifications provided by the vehicle manufacturer and instructions from Management.
Ensure accurate colour mixing and blending to achieve a proper match with the existing vehicle colour.
Apply appropriate painting techniques, including water-based and base-coat refinishing, as required.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
Follow all workplace occupational health and safety procedures.
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by Management.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

S.S.C., Trade Certificate, or Vocational Training.
2–3 years of experience as a Paint Mixer or Auto Painter within a reputable dealership or automotive workshop.
Good knowledge of spray booth operations.
Ability to identify and assess painting defects.
Good understanding of paint mixing machines, colour mixing processes, and related equipment.
Knowledge of different types of automotive paint materials and refinishing products.
