Visa

In the UAE the employer usually arranges the work visa (country practice; the posting doesn’t say).

Check the posting for nationality or residence rules.

More about this

In these Gulf countries the employer normally applies for the work visa and residence permit. This is how hiring works there, not an offer written in the posting, and it applies only to these locations.

Working in UAE

Possible country route: Employer-sponsored work residence / Golden Visa. Standard employment residence is applied for by the employer. Golden Visa is a separate long-term route with category-specific eligibility; it is not included in every relocation offer.

Depends on the emirate, entry permit, work permit, medical checks and residence issuance. Confirm a dated plan with the employer and issuing authority.

What to check before applying
  1. Confirm the employment route. Ask which authority handles the work permit and residence.
  2. Verify costs and offer. For standard overseas hiring, official guidance assigns recruitment and residence processing costs to the employer.
  3. Complete arrival formalities. Follow the medical and Emirates ID instructions for your route.

  • Provide hiring managers with practical market insight on talent availability, salary expectations and recruitment challenges.
  • Champion internal mobility, diverse shortlists and fair and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and ensure hiring activity is delivered in line with recruitment governance and standards.
  • Use recruitment technology, systems and data to improve efficiency, quality and the overall recruitment experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Strong Talent Acquisition experience within a complex, fast-paced and multicultural organisation.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, with the ability to personally source and deliver across multiple roles and disciplines.
  • Experience supporting large-scale project recruitment and mobilisation, including high-volume and specialist hiring.
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary consultancy environments, including areas such as Design Management, Project Management, Advisory and Transportation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities while maintaining pace, quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of regional talent markets and the ability to translate market insight into practical recruitment solutions.
  • Experience within engineering, professional services, consulting or another project-led environment would be advantageous.
