Location: Amsterdam

Flow Traders is looking for a Digital Assets Options Trader to join our global Digital Assets Trading team in Amsterdam. We are seeking candidates with ideally experience in digital asset options, volatility trading, market making, or related derivatives strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of crypto options market structure and is motivated to help build and develop our digital assets options trading capabilities.

 

You will be part of a highly collaborative global team, working closely with traders, quants, and engineers to develop and scale options trading strategies across centralized and decentralized markets.

 

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize digital asset options strategies across OTC and listed markets, including CeFi and/or DeFi venues
  • Manage OTC trading flow, including RFQs, pricing, execution, and counterparty interaction
  • Manage day-to-day activities of an options desk.
  • Help build and improve the desk’s trading processes, pricing, monitoring, and risk-management framework
  • Collaborate with traders, quants, and engineers to improve execution and trading infrastructure
  • Generate and validate trading ideas using data and real-time feedback

 

What you will need to succeed

  • Experience in options trading at a proprietary trading firm, market maker, options desk, or crypto-native trading desk
  • Experience with crypto or digital asset options preferred, across OTC and/or listed markets
  • Working knowledge of options theory, trading basics and risk management
  • Experience with OTC options, including RFQ handling, quoting, pricing, and counterparty interaction
  • Strong understanding of options pricing, volatility, execution, liquidity, and market dynamics
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with an interest in helping build a growing options trading function
  • Comfortable working flexible hours 
  • Strong quantitative and programming skills, including experience with tools such as Python and SQL
